2017 TAD All-Site Webinar

2015 Wisconsin Act 388 expanded Treatment Alternatives and Diversion (TAD) program funding by $2 million, bringing the total TAD funding amount to more than $6 million for calendar year 2017. In September, as required under the state statute, the Wisconsin Department of Justice (DOJ) announced the recipients of Treatment Alternatives and Diversion (TAD) funding as a result of the calendar year 2017 competitive grant process.  The awards for calendar year 2017 represent the beginning of a new five-year funding cycle.  As a result of this process, TAD projects will now be funded in 46 counties and 2 tribes in Wisconsin, including projects in 14 new sites.

To address this program expansion and to ensure familiarity with statutory, programmatic, and grant requirements, DOJ hosted a TAD All-Site Webinar on January 10, 2017.  The webinar covered the following topics related to TAD funding:

  • TAD History and Statutory Requirements
  • Award Documents and Conditions
  • Fiscal Reporting, Program Reporting
  • Technical Assistance Available
  • Data Reporting (CORE Reporting System)

The webinar was recorded for future reference, and video clips of the full webinar, as well as specific webinar sections are embedded below.  Handouts and reference materials related to the webinar and management of the TAD program are included under Resource Documents.
