Description:
The Substance Diversion Program is intended for individuals with substance motivated involvement with the legal system through non-violent felony level behavior. Participants work with a case manager to develop an individualized case plan to address the needs which lead to the criminal behavior. This program typically takes six to twelve months to complete. Substance use treatment is a required element of this program. The District Attorney's Office makes referrals to the CJCC for consideration for the Substance Diversion Program.
