This webinar will focus on the principles of the Medication-First model (individuals with OUD receive treatment as quickly as possible; maintenance pharmacotherapy is delivered without arbitrary tapering or time limits; individualized psychosocial services are continually offered but not required; and pharmacotherapy is discontinued if it is worsening the individual’s condition), and an open discussion on promoting equity in MOUD treatment opportunities, as well as, special considerations for those with criminal legal system involvement.
