Crawford County Hybrid Treatment Court is a treatment-based alternative to jail, prison, and the standard probation model. The justice system works cooperatively with treatment agencies and other rehabilitation services to provide a participant with all the possible tools required to get into recovery, stay in recovery, and lead a productive, crime-free life.

Post-charge Diversion and Deferred Prosecution Program

Description:
Post Charge diversion program allows low risk individuals to enter into an agreement, known as a Deferred Prosecution Agreement (DPA). In exchange for pleas to select charges, the offender is given an opportunity to avoid a conviction on those charges. If certain conditions are met within a stated time, the charges are ultimately reduced or dismissed. If the DPA is not complied with, the pleas are accepted by the Court, convictions entered, and sentence imposed.
