Hybrid OWI / Drug Court

Start Date:
Bayfield County's Hybrid OWI/Drug Court is titled: Risk Reduction Treatment Court (RRTC). Participants appropriate for RRTC are non-violent, moderate - high risk/needs as determined first by a COMPAS core assessment. Participants must also receive a clinical AODA assessment determining a moderate - high substance use disorder in order to be considered for RRTC. RRTC often accepts participants who may have a mental health diagnoses co-occurring with a diagnosed substance use disorder of moderate - high. Once screening and assessment is complete, a program referral is made to the treatment court team for consideration. A targeted case plan addressing identified criminogenic needs is developed with the client. Accepted participants must sign a contract acknowledging their intended participation in all aspects of the program, including the successful completion of each treatment court phase. Successful completion of all phases is required for completion/graduation of RRTC.
