Description:
The purpose of the Oneida County Diversion Program is to divert from the traditional criminal justice system low and moderate risk individuals with substance use issues. Program compliance is monitored by case managers trained to employ evidence-based practices such as reinforcing progress and addressing anti-social behavior and relapses through a coordinated strategy of sanctions, incentives and therapeutic adjustments partnering with integrated substance abuse treatment.
