Description:
The mission of Vernon County Recovery Court (Sobriety and Adult Drug Court merged into a hybrid model in 2024) is to enhance community safety by reducing recidivism for individuals with substance-use disorders. Increased treatment is utilized and immediate responses to both positive and negative actions are delivered. Guided by evidence-based practices, participants are held accountable for their behaviors and self-sufficiency is promoted. Participants are provided the opportunity to change their life circumstances and become alcohol and drug free while learning and utilizing the tools required to get into recovery quickly, stay in recovery and lead a productive, crime-free life.
